Changing OEM color line

Has anybody swapped their color lines (vinyl dash pieces and door armrests) from the factory for another OEM color? Say you went from cream white to black/grey. Or maybe you went from black/grey to rooster red.

I saw the do-it-yourself PDF floating around, but is it a real chore? Does anybody know rough costs of new parts? For a Clubman, there would be new dash pieces plus new front and rear armrests.

Best idea would be to swap with somebody who also wanted to switch...

The arm rests pop right off.The three dash pieces are another story. I had mine painted body color but now plan on a complete suede wrapped interior. Here's mine and another members who had his painted yellow.

How does the blue armrest feel? It looks really shiny.

Mine are flat black now with the silver dash panels.I'm in the process of deciding which suede color combo I'm gonna wrap the interior in.

Considering I've changed the color three times the paint is holding up very well no signs of wear and no chipping at all since I used vinyl paint.
