I'm curious to see what the maximum oil pressure the Cooper S engines run at when cold, warmed up and under high rpm use. Also, I'd like to know what those are you with modifications such as intake/exhaust and especially the pulley and ECU upgrade are seeing as well. I know there won't be many replying as it doesn't come with an oil press. gauge stock, so those of you with auxilary guages lets hear from ya

thanks,

amir

I don't know either, but I can guess.

The oil pump is driven mechanically off of some internal
engine part like the cam shaft or something, so it's speed
is proportional to the RPM of the engine. The oil pump
almost certainly has a valve that limits it's maximum
pressure at high RPMs.

I don't think any of the changes you mentioned will be
able to affect the oil pressure at all.
