I ordered a sunroof shade from Mini Mania in December, the part number is G2NMI1060. I waited maybe 3 weeks for it because the vendor was in the process of making them. When it arrived it did not fit so I called Mini Mania and they told me all of the new shipments did not fit and they had me ship it back. They told me it would be a few weeks till they would get any in. I now went to their web site and it says: Available in March - currently undergoing re-design! My question is, does anyone have the original shade, and do they like it. I would hate to wait 3 months and not like it. On a side note, Mini Mania is great, I have no problems with them.

 

We made our own collapsible sunshades for front and rear. Simply paid less than $5.00 for a windshield screen and cut pieces to fit the openings and slid them in. No problems.

 

That's the plan! Those Zippee (and other) moonroof shades are pricey.

 

It was a Christmas gift. My motherasked me what I wanted for Christmas and I was looking in a catalog and seen it. I probably would not have bought it myself.
I did get an email yesterday saying:

We did issue a recall to all of our customers indicating that we are redesigning the shade on all R56 and R55 models. It turns out that our redesign required the steel frame to be larger
