Well I am now driving a Mini again after a few year sabbatical, plus a move 4500 miles east to München. The Mini is the perfect car for city driving over here, but does have a bit of a struggle on the autobahns when trying to get over 160 km/h...

Since I'm skiing a bit more now, I purchased a used factory roof rack and am trying to figure out the best way to drill the holes. I don't have the template, so it's going to be a bit tricky. Does anyone have a copy of them, or the exact locations where to find the holes (the manual doesn't show all the distances)?

Have you tried contacting your local dealer? I bet they have a template you could have.

 

This is Germany...car dealers here are generally the most unhelpful people you can find. I tried to buy a new rack on Saturday and they stop all sales at 1PM, with no sales on Sunday. So I'd rather avoid dealing with them if possible...
