oem boost tube slipping off the turbo

the tube i am referring to are the tubes from the air filter/air intake to the turbo. the air tube that attaches to the turbo is showing signs of slipping off the turbo inlet to the point where every 200ish miles, i have to reposition the tube and retighten the clamp...

any suggestions? will a tbolt clamp work and if so, what size will i be needing? is there any way i can use loctite?

no other clamp is needed.... Just remove the hose and wipe it off. It probably has oil on it and is causing it to slip off.

I experienced the same issue after installing the M7 Super AGS.
Have you changed the intake to an aftermarket CAI?

You sould not have this problem if the hose is on right...is there a raised part where the hose clamps?

I had the same problem awhile back. It had some oil on it. I cleaned the tube and turbo (a cold turbo) with rubbing alcohol. no problems since.

i went back to my custom air intake for now (the tab for the super ags snapped and need to be re-welded... another story)

i think the biggest problem is that most of these custom intake setups rattle as you drive. I know for sure it does because my maf still continues to to hit my strut bar. oh well... nothing like more zipties to solve the problem...
