Does the Honda S2000 radio antenna fit the 2009 Mini?

I read somewhere that it fit the R53 which supposedly had different threads but I question that.

 

no, too small thread diameter, it'll fit the first gen car but not 2nd. I had one on my R53 and tried to see if it fit my R56 but no go so I gave it to my friend, she has a 2005 S2000.

 

It won't fit as the hole in the antenna base is larger than the R53's. I know this as my S2000 antenna from my previous R53 didn't fit in my new R56. Got a stubby from Alta and it has different bolt inserts to fit the R56. Good luck.

i have both the s2000 antenna and a new mini. Does anyone know the thread pitch of both (or either) so i can buy an adapter?
