Radio / single CD work, but iPod doesn't, need help

i have searched high and low, but seems like no one has my problem.
my radio FM/AM work fine, even the single CD player in the HU works fine.
it produces sound.

but when i switched to my ICELINK ipod, it shows up as CD changer, i can change everything.. disc 1, on the HU etc. but no sound. i had an extra DICE unit and tried that, still no sound.

i am not sure what's going on since it's not the AMP. i checked it, no error messages. everything else is plug and play forthe DPSM.

i don't think it's the connection since FM/AM and CD player works fine.

anyone can help, please please... (06 mini)
i need my ipod.

Is this a radio or trunk interface kit?

Either your 6-pin connector is not plugged into your harness in the boot area, or the 12-pin connector is not connected to the radio up front.

figured it out... need to pull out 2 wires from the original HU cable and plug into the DPSM for CD Changer function..

the instructions says SA 672 which was a CD changer option...

everything works now.. now the break in period of 30 hours...

Hi hexproject,

This sounds like the exact same problem I'm facing with a GROM Audio USB adaptor into the trunk cable.

Everything shows on the headunit as expected, even CDTEXT from the MP3's, but no sound.

Can you elaborate on the wires you pulled from the front of the car, I dont want to send my unit back, I'd prefer to get it working.

Thanks,
Ryan
