anyone with lens tint?

Im going to be purchasing LED taillights, and unfortunately there is chrome on them. I want the tint film to be dark enough to minimize the chrome bling, but not so dark to where the LEDs brightness is sacrificed.
So, does anyone have any pictures of minis with chrome/euro/altezza tailights that have tint film on them, and also can you tell which tint film it is, like where it came from or what percentage it is? thanks all.

what if you paint the inside of them black, or whatever color you want? To risky? I know those lights are pricey

That is something i'll consider once i get my hands on them. The chrome seems to be all around the LEDs, so as long as it doesnt mess with their function, i'll look into it.
im just not too familiar with how much the tint actually blocks

I used to run the Lamin-X tint on my oem tails. They have a dark smoke and a light smoke. I ran the darker one and it blocked out the chrome pretty well. You could still see it but not nearly as bad as with out the tint. And the light output was still pretty good. Your LED's will be much brighter also.

Here's a before and after of my headlights with the light smoke Lamin-X tint. It doesn't block out too much, but I did have to get brighter headlight bulbs to compensate.
