Outmotoring light bracket on an R50

Has anyone mounted the Outmotoring light brackets on the R50?
The bumper is different on the R50 v the R53, and I'm wondering if the brackets will pass through the lower grill and allow for the lights to be mounted without hitting the bumper. I'm mounting PIAA 540 Ion fog lights.
I've searched the threads and haven't found any info specific to the R50.
Talked with Outmotoring, and they believe it can be done, but they haven't tried it.
Thanks.

I would run the VIP light bar it is the most reasonably priced, sturdy, and best looking one I have seen. That and their customer service is awesome. Something I didn't really appreciate untill I dealt with Palo Uber.

When I replaced my R50 bumper with the aero bumper I put 4 of these on for my driving lights. From what I could tell, it looked like they would work with the regular bumper, but I don't think you could use more than two lamps. Also, the bracket is plenty long so the lights should not hit the bumper.

Hope that helps. I didn't actually try mounting these with the regular bumper, but with all the fanagling I had to to do in that area my guess would be that it would work.

I'm pretty confident it will work, also. However, you may have to shorten the bolts that come with the PIAA's... they're pretty long, and I know I cut mine down when I did my install (though I can't remember for sure if I cut them for clearance, or only for aesthetics... I think just to make it look better).

Thanks All. They're going on this weekend. I'll post pics when the mod is complete.
