What I'd like this thread to become is a list of all the options that one may order with their 2009 justa or MCS in the US market... that are not listed in the miniusa.com build tool. And it would be nice to get some general feedback on these options, so people will know if it's something worth considering.

I've heard something before about being able to order badge holders (yeah, big whoop, but it's not in the build tool) as well as someone wanting to try and order their MINI with an "option code 320 - Model delete designation", an option available on the euro websites (so, maybe this one won't work in the US).

Anyway, I'm hoping there are others out there more knowledgeable than I (hint, hint, all you MAs out there) who can help populate a list of these lesser-known options for the new 2009 MINIs.

 

Well, when my wife and I ordered our Oxgen Blue Cooper, the Sport Package comes with the option for 16" Bridge Spoke wheels, but in order to make them white on the configurator, it makes you add the normal $750 for white Bridge Spokes.

So, we talked to the dealer because the wheels are the same price for silver and white when you order a la carte, and the silver ones are included in the Sport package, so we wondered if we could get the white ones instead. So, they just specified that our Sport Package included Bridge Spokes were white when they ordered it... no $750 charge.

I know... not that special or really "hidden"... but it's the best I could do. :D

I don't know of any other ones, but it's an interesting topic.

 

If you get Rally Lights on your car then you get the option of Chrome or Black housing. The website only shows Chrome. Your MA should ask which one you want though.

 

I got a badge holder and a hat for free when I picked up my car. When you buy at MSRP you should get a few freebies.
