TPMS Article in October 2008 NAM Magazine

The article was very informative, but I have three questions:

- what lights and/or information are displayed on a non-NAV system MINI?

- if you don't have the NAV system, is there any display of which tire is low, or do you just use a tire gauge to find out?

- the article says to "hold the tire pressure warning light for 4-6 seconds" to reset the warning light. How do you hold a light? Did they mean you need to go through the entire sequence outlined in the owner's manual (not very simple)?

I had this happen to me when it first started getting cold out. If I remember correctly the area that shows your speed in the tach turns red and says low tire. Also on the big spedometer it shows a yellow flat tire symbol.
On a non nav car it will not tell you which tire is low. To reset you must scroll through the menu with the button on the end of the turn signal stalk. There you will see the low tire menu and be able to reset it by choosing it by pressing the button on the stalk. You then must drive a little and it will reset, this is only if you fixed the low tire problem.
