R56 18" Quiet Tires
18" Quiet Tires
I was thinking about upgrading my stock challenger wheels to a set of 18" wheels. What type of tires would people recommend if my biggest concern is road noise. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is there such a thing? High performance 18"s with low road noise?.. in a Cooper?
I've got 17"s on mine and they can transmit alot of road noise, but that's the price I am wiling to pay for go-kart like handling.

Here's a couple of threads that talk about it.

Thanks. I know what everyone is saying about noise and performance, but believe me, no matter how loud a Mini is already; it can get worse. My Porsche has 19's and rides amazingly quiet with the right tires.
i just upgraded to 18"s and got the kumho ecsta ast (non run flat) and I think they are quieter than the 16" run flats that I had. Lighter too.
