I live 5 minutes from Galveston Island and since i moved here the only MINI i have EVER seen is a Red/W Coop S that a lady drives. Am i just not seeing you rest of you guys out there or what?!?

 

I was in Galveston earlier today...and League City the day before....though I didn't have the MINI with me...we brought my friends ti. Though you might see my MINI down there a bit more as I'm trying to talk the wife into getting a Sea Ray Sundancer which we would leave down there. You ever up in the tyler area? On Oct 11th we are having the MINI Roundup at BMP design / ProMini - you should come up - would love to get to know more MINI owners in the area.

 

Well, i am not 'Technically' an owner yet..i have only placed the order. The funny thing it that all my friends know that i have been working two jobs for 6 months now to save for my Coop and i have become some kind of underground topic of conversation. "Will he do it?" "I gotta see this car!" "Oh! I want one of those too!"
I actually spend a lot of time in the parking lot at the Wal' in Kemah (i work there and quite often do cart pushing) and never see MINIs... I'll have to check my schedule on Oct. 11 though. I'll repost with more. Muchos Gracias.

Another Galveston MINIac here!
I've had Celeste since Jan 03, but have seen and know of several other MINIs on the island. My EB/W MCS, then there is another EB/W MCS, the only difference being that the other one has the S-lites, whereas Celeste is V-bespoked. On the West End there is a BRG MCS, I know of a PS/B MC and another as MCS, and I have seen two LY MCs. One has repeatedly parked right next to my car, kinda cute.
Also saw a VR MC once, as well as a black one.
I actually live on the island, but am currently driving an anti-MINI, since Celeste is having some work done at the dealer. Can't waitr to get her back!
