We all know that the aerodynamics of the R50/53 cause a build-up of dirt and grime on the boot. Recently I had to change my rear license plate, which had been on since March 2004, and I was appalled at what had accumulated behind the plate. Lesson: remove the plate(s) at least once a year and thoroughly clean the area.

 

I should do that, it's been years since I removed it.

 

Like most MINI owners I hated the dust build up. I have found a Wing Tip that greatly reduces that build up. I've had it on my MINI for a few weeks now and run the rear wiper less in rain and after a weekend with a some MINI Friends running some dusty back roads, I know it works, for once the back was cleaner then the front. the combination of the JS Art add on and the GP insert in place of the third brake light and a rear wiper delete made a noticeable difference on my car.
