I am at the BMW Welt (Germany) picking up my 135i today. We took the factory production tour and to my amazement there were a couple of MINI's in the 3 series production plant(???) Anyway our tour guide asked the engineers what they were doing here and they replied they were testing the new electric MINI. Pretty cool to see it in person. A lot of the badging and body was covered in tape. The hood looked a little bulgy like the 07+ Cooper S but due to the tape I couldn't tell if it had a hood scoop.
