The box of cookies arrived today--and just in time too. I was down 12# on my diet and needed to slow down!

No problem. No problem at all. She's been great about the cookies -- just keeps filling the freezer and then sending them out in bursts. I think it's ironic that she both loves to bake and bakes so well, and doesn't like cookies.

But I'm with you -- next year will be hard, and I am sure she'll carpet bomb me with cookies again. I think I put on 10 lbs past year when I was in Romania for just 4 months, from her cookies.

And be sure to use them as leverage. They're awesome for bartering, and if you do it right, you can use them for access to the old man -- "Hey sir, cookies from Anne arrived today. Got a minute?"

 

Yea, Anne makes some really good cookies! She kept the boys and I down range all stocked up. I think she should go into business with those cookies. They are that good! Stay safe down there!
