I just realized that i need to clean/replace my filter that came with my madness in take for the MCS. The cleaning solution seems to have magically disappeared so I was wondering can I replace the cone filter with a K&N cone filter? I have always had good experiences with K&N filters in previous cars. If not, does anyone have any suggestions as to which filter to buy, and the size?

Why would you not use K&N filter cleaner/oil on it instead of throwing the filter out?

BTW, are those flames from cooper flags? I checked their site but their cart is crap. Doesn't allow color choice or what. What color is your flame ($$)?

You should be able to clean the filter quite a few times...cheaper than buying a new filter everytime.

 

Are all air filter cleaners the same? I was thinking about just going out and getting some K&N airfilter cleaner but I just wanted to double check if that was ok. As for the flames, just give matt a call or email at cooperflags, there are tons of different options for the flames. The ones on my sig are actually ones I created, but I am actually getting some frost ones soon.

Yes, any paper filter cleaner/reoiler will work.
