British Invasion at CMP

A co-worker who owns a Triumph fowarded this to me today. I assume Mini's are welcome? Has anyone heard of this event or planning to attend?

Car show/gathering: This will be a laid back car show, no classes, more about enjoying the cars and the people who drive them. We’ll have someone there to park cars on the show field starting at 8:00 AM, want to cruise in a 10 AM, no biggie, like I said this is going to be a laid back event.
Show Registration is free, $5 per head gate admission
Crowd Favorite Award: Sponsored by Palmetto Motorsports Club.
Picked by the entrants, pick your favorite car for whatever reason.
Prize: Trophy, and a 1 day PDX track event at CMP

British Invasion track touring session: This will be advanced track touring session on the 2.2 mile CMP road course, with CMP Turn One instructors giving you driving tips before your sessions. All roadsters welcome, passenger allowed. $25 per car. The track touring session will take place during the track day school’s lunch hour, aprox. 12:00 noon

Thanks for the post! I want to see the revisions to the track, I heard they fixed a few turns...

I'll have to check my calendar at home and most likely in...

Earlier this year I raced my motorcycle on the new and improved CMP. The back section flows much better (turn 12, 13) and is a lot faster. They also added a few feet of track inside turn 14 so you can carry more speed onto the straight.
