$20 Piloti's

I'm not kidding, i got a few pairs today. Go to your local Ross's. they have Piloti's of varying sizes for $19.99. this will not last i'm sure. i know the one at S. blvd and 485 only had one pair left on Monday. I think they restock as they can. The one at S. blvd had lots today. I saw some from size 6 to 13.

p.s. Piloti's are driving shoes.

After seeing this post I went to Ross in Mountain View, CA today and picked up a pair. Thank you, Bluesmini. There were only three pair on the shelves and two happened to be my size (11.5). They are white Spyder SV touring shoes. I put them on for my drive home and they did feel nice. I had been debating the notion of buying driving shoes to add to my collection of "specialized" foot ware (cycling shoes, walking shoes, tennis shoes, cross training shoes, hiking shoes, etc.) For 20 buck, what the hey. I think I'll appreciate these.

Our Ross had tons of them last week during our tax-free weekend.

Alas, none in my size!

For the Charlotte-area folks... I saw a few pairs in various sizes and colors at Ross on Concord Mills Blvd. and also in University City. Not my size though.

Fortunately, I'm in Colorado this week and bought a pair last night at Ross in Longmont. I got an even better deal -- 10% off the $20 price because I had to wait so long at the register for a store clerk to find another pair with a bar code for the cashier to scan. We're sometimes hamstrung by our technology! It was a nice gesture.

Woohoo. I got two pairs. They have quite a few here in Vegas. I got a pair of G16s and Stradale GLs. And to think I was going to pay full price a couple of months ago and talked myself out of it. Smart me.

Fortunately, I found them at the Ross near my house. Unfortunately, there was only 1 style, but I was able to get a pair in my size. Thanks for the heads up!

I check in at the Ross on South @ Tyvola about once a week. I bought a pair of Stradales for $16.95 and a pair of Monzas for $19.99. Makes me feel sort of stupid for paying $100 for the Spyders.

Well...so much for THAT idea...

Here's the map from the Ross website showing their store locations.
The gray dot is where I live.

I could not BE any further from a Ross in the lower 48

On closer inspection, maybe Rock Island, IL is a bit further...

I had the blue ones just like that but they were a half size too small and i gave them away. I did end up buying 3 more pair on of them being nomex lined.

what's the inside story with the Brown???

Thanks for the find bluesmini! I got mine (G16's) in Prattville, Al. I haven't had a chance to check out nearby Montgomery, but the aforementioned had several pairs.

Dave, I also checked both stores in Greenville but as luck would have it none were my size. The store up at Cherrydale had a nice tan pair.
