Hi all, I have a question....

I just spent about an hour looking for the answer in the search function, but well lets just say its not the greatest. Anyhow if its been asked my apologies, but If I get say 18x8 wheels will I have to:

1. Lower my mini to lessen the wheel gap? Im on the sport suspension
2. what ET should I get?
3. Tire size please?
4. will 18x8 even fit(the eight part is the part that worries me)?

Oh yeah its the R56(2007 plus, cooper s)

thanks all your the bestesssssissst

1- personal preferance. I'd do the wheels 1st and see how you feel about the ride quality.

2- usually et42 or higher works without mods - depending on wheel width

3 - 215/35 or 205/40

4 - Very offset/ wheel design dependant. I have Motegi SP10 18x8 et40 that fit.

Thank you Alex, I guess with my first question it was more of a "with the sport suspension" and 18x8 will it look like Im "4x4ing" in a mini...I just don't want it to look silly.

205/40/18 will offer the taller diameter, 215/35 will make you look more "offroad"

A mild lowering kit should eliminate this appearance, like the H&R Sport Spring

Will these fit on a 2006 MINI Cooper S? Also what is the widest tire I can fit on this and not rub? Also what about for the 17" wheel same questions.

Thanks
