Hi guys,

The last few weeks my car has started make this knock sound from my drivers seat. It's almost as if the seat's loose? Only happens when I accelerate from a stop or when I'm coming to a standstill. How do I fix this?

Yes, it definitely feels like something is loose, just don't know what. I had the similar thing happen on my M coupe and they had to replace the seat rails. I don't want to go to those extremes so perhaps there is an easier fix?

 

check the bolts

 

I'd check the bolts that hold the rails down, and make sure theyre all tight. you havent installed/removed an armrest lately have you? sounds like a rail is moving though.
