There are several things that you grab EACH and EVERY time you drive your car. The door handle, the e-brake lever, the steering wheel etc. But one thing stands out from the rest and it is the gear selector and shifter. Think about it; every time you shift gears from a parking lot, your driveway or the auto cross course you are using the shifter. So why not make the shifter look and feel the way YOU want it to be, not the way MINI thought you might want it.
Our shifter gives you total control over **** height, **** position and shifter throw. Why are these important? Well it is because we are ALL different in some way. Meaning that if you are a taller driver and you roll the seat back a ways the shifter can be difficult to reach. The ALTA Shifter incorporates a curved shaft that allows you to rotate the **** back to where you are. Conversely, if you are a shorter driver you will love the opportunity to place the **** closer to the dash. PLUS and this is huge, if you fall into our international clientele you will enjoy the fact that the **** can also rotate left and right to suit either steering wheel position.
Finally, the **** height and shift length can be controlled as well. So if you want the distance from first to second to be next to nothing you can do that. Plus the **** then gets close to the console.
