Cold Air Intake Installation

This is Sharon. Floyd (anteken) and I celebrated our 26th anniversary yesterday. I gave him a card, no present; he gave me a present, no card. My present was a DDM Works Cold Air Intake for my 2006 R53! Yahoo!!! (to go with my Mother's Day present of a Milltek Exhaust and a 15% Reduction Pulley).

Floyd seems to think installation on these is pretty simple. I'm a bit scared since Floyd is mechanically challenged (and there tends to be blood whenever he tries something like this). Are my fears justified?

Congratulations on the anniversary. I'm surprised that Floyd didn't get a MINI or.... you didn't get a new MINI

Yours or Floyd's blood????

Dan at Grassroots garage prevents blood loss from you or Floyd.

Actually - I'm selling my DDM cold air intake - it just didn't get along with the Mini - my husband actually installed it and removed it. The directions are easy to follow, and only took about an hour to do.

Congratulations on your anniversary, Sharon and Floyd! I'm considering a cold air intake for my 2006 MCS....but now I'm curious to know why it didn't get along with "Nay's Mini" R53?

I'm also curious as to why/how it didn't get along with Nay's Mini's mini (did I say that right?) About it being easy to install...let me just add this latest bit of info. Floyd, the mechanically challenged, came in today with a bloody arm after simply adding air to the tires of my son's Harley. Need I say more?
