Sunday was a gorgeous day and we had nothing scheduled so we decided to take Monty and go motoring for the first time. No place special to go, just looking for nice little roads to explore. We found some great little twistie, hilly back country roads in Southern Anne Arundel County, MD. What a blast!!! We had the top open, the windows down, and the radio loud. It was so much fun, especially when we would come up on a regular road and we would just pull a U-turn and go back the way we came - WOOHOOOOOO! We had a general idea of where we were but we had never been on any of the roads before so each turn and hill was a mystery.

While we were out we spotted 5 other MINIs, the most I have ever seen in one day. I was reaching for something on the floor when we passed the first one and missed waving. I was really upset, the first MINI wave and my husband got to do it alone. We passed a couple of them that didn't see us and then on the way back we got our first light flash. John was driving and didn't see it until I threw my hand in front of his face, waving frantically. Good way to cause an accident

It was a great afternoon and we both came home in love with Monty and ever so glad we bought him.

Sounds like you had a great time. I'm a little jealous. Nittany and I have gone on a couple little trips and have yet to encounter another MINI. I've seen a few parked along the way but none on the road.
