Kumho XS?

It's about time Kumho came out with a new summer tire to replace the Kumho MX. Has anyone heard when these tries are coming out exactly? If they are out now and you have a set, what are your intial impressions of this tire? I love Kumho product but was weary of the treadwear with this model (160). Thanks all!

Try contacting Alex@tirerack.com and see when they will be in to replace the Kumho MX. So far XS is not listed.

Treadwear 180

I'm waiting for Bridgestone RE-11

Nice! Those Potenza Tires look incredible! I have always went with Kumho personally due to the cost per performance value that they present. The MX is a great tire, but I wanted a tire that was max performance and good in the rain. The Hankook RS2 has been that tire and more this summer and if these Kumho tires don't perform in wet conditions and cost a tremendous amount of money, I will certainl go with the Hankook again!

I saw the Kumho XS today at the ALMS race in Detroit in the Kumho tent. Still no word on real-world availability though.

I just put a set of these Potenza RE-01R's on my car. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Potenza+RE-01R

The difference between these and the stock Dunlops is incredible! Much higher dry grip, much smoother ride, and the wet traction is remarkably good
