went to the dealer today and looks like we can pick one up at MSRP tommorow or wait for an S.
my thought is this cheap run around car will turn into $30k for an S - why not get a used 911?
Looks like most of the cars will be loaded w/ options - hence they will make $$ on this - I found a bare bones --is there something that is a must? P.S. I hate the white wheels...do not want to spend the weekend cleaning them...

I got my Mini from Princeton Mini in Princeton NJ. It was the second one out the door. We were Number
five on the list from last Sept 12th. Didn't want a red and white one but saw the other colors and did not want to wait any longer to order the one we wanted. Turns out we did not like the British racing green. Its our first new car, never having any interest in what was out there
until we saw the Mini. It drives great, put three hundred miles on it in twenty four hours. It really draws a crowd
every where we go. We Love it.

Congrats on the Mini!!!
You'll have to give us updates on how everything goes.
Also if you have time, give a review in the Reviews section. I'd love to read it.
Oh and for getting one before I've even seen it in person!!!
I'll be going for a test drive this weekend.

Congrats! BTW, I paid under 23K out the door after taxes, dealer prep and all for my S.

MSRP for the MC is about $17,000 plus and fully loaded is still only $20,000-21,000
MSRP for the MCS is about $20,000 plus and fully loaded is still only about $23,000-24,000.
You don't need to get leather and if you don't have the sunroof it isn't that big a deal
the 16" stock X-lyte wheels will do fine. Most stock things work well enough.
If you like louder stereo then HK is fine although for most people the stock stereo is a good start.
Somepeople really like the space clothe, the Auto AC, the multifunction steering wheel.

Our dealership is clearing out their MCS inventory with prices today for about $20,000 to 23,500 for most loaded MCS. Nothing close to $30,000 forget that 911. You'd spent $1000 on a tune up for a 911.
