NJ vanity plates for lease cars

Can you get vanity plates for a lease car in New Jersey? I have vanity plates on my 2007 P/W MCS but I bought the car. The plates will be for my new addition to my MINI family: LiB Mini Clubman 2008 which I won the 2yr lease on MOT. Finally picking it up this Saturday. Yahoo! I no longer have to fight hubby for driving my MCS.

Sorry I can't help you guys concerning the plates but are you guys going up to Boston to pick it up? Or did you make other arrangements.

You can but they will be owned by the leasing company, not you.
And, you have to go through the lease company to even obtain them.
