Ernie's facelift almost completed...
One of my painters painted my JCW aero kit at work yesterday. When I was all said and done, I didn't like the color match.
So, I stayed late last night and refinished all of the pieces.
I installed it today, the dealership sent me a kit but with two of the same mouldings at the rear bumper on the left side. (thus I'm missing the right side moulding)
They also didn't include the rear reflectors which they said was included.
Anyway, though not clean, here's some pics of Ernie's new look.

It's here:

We paint plastic/rubber every day. I'm sure your guys tried at least a few sprayouts first, but glad you got it right in the end. Some of this stuff can get a little weird.
Looks good man, hope to see you around town!
Thanks all.... much appreciated.
Yeah Eric, I sprayed at least 15 spray out cards. We have 3 complete mixing systems and I had it tinted to what Ithought was perfect. The sad part was when I pulled the code, there weren't any variances. There was only standard.
Anyway, it's has a hair too bluish-red flop to it.... however, when the sun comes out, it pulls the green out and looks great.
As you know, it's practically impossible to panel shoot any blue/green, oh hell, who are we kidding, it's almost impossible to panel shoot any color...
It was getting late and I didn't feel like staying at the shop so I didn't bake the parts.
I'll have to wait awhile but I still need to get the clear bra put back on.
