[It is summertime and I'm only accessing the net via a library computer a few times a week, so others may have posted on this topic already. If so, apols.]

I got a production date and production number for my 2009 MCSa on Friday...set for week 37 (9/15) with delivery likely week of 10/6 or 10/13 to my Boston area dealer. This appears to be the first week for 2009s that are not JCW vehicles. Pumped! At least now we have a hard date for the new production year (not a new model year.)

It'll be born around my birthday and delivered around my wife's. Cool.

Week 37 is September 8...

 

i just placed my order today and was told that i should expect delivery around late nov or early december. hopefully it gets here around october.

 

Time to call my MA to see if I can get my production number!

 

Congrats on your orders! We are fellows 09 MiNis. I just pull the trigger and place an order with East Bay Mini in CA too. It's going to be a Chili Red/White MCS Auto with premium package, xenons, auto headlamps, white turn lights and rear fog lights. Jesse is my MA and could not be happier with him.

I was also told that the built date would be sometime early September and expected delivery late October to early November. Sounds great to me since my birthday is Nov the 1st and my wife is the 10th. I tried to have Jesse throw in free floor and boot mats but he told me he couldn't do it . He did promise a full tank of gas and a Mini gift bag. Anybody have any idea what might be in the bag? If it contain some kind of gift certificate for accessories, I can definitely get the floor mats later.

i guess talking east bay out of their $2k markup probably means no free mats for me neither...i also have been speaking with Jesse but place the order with another MA because Jessee couldn't make it in today after all.

 

Maximus, I definitely encourage you to try. You might end up getting freebies and the worst thing is they will just say no. Congrats on your order. Your delivery should be pretty close to mine. Can you share your spec if you don't mind?

Anybody got a free gift basket from their dealer upon delivery of their new Mini? Can you tell us what it includes? I am super curious to know, but I guess it might be dealer-specific.

i placed an order today for a MCS in Mellow Yellow / black top, premium, cold weather, and convenience package, rear fog, hid, anthracite headliner, english oak trim and steering wheel and bridge spoke wheels.

i'll probably add the alarm later myself. was going to do clear bra/sport stripes but found out they no longer do clear bras at East Bay. I used Transparent Bra last time on my Murano, i'll probably have them install the bra for the Mini. They're mobile and serves the bay area. i'm hoping i can get a discount for being a repeat customer. they quoted me $555 w/o discounts.

 

Cool spec. I love the sport package but cannot wait until December...3 months is already a longggg wait. I plan to add the stubby antenna probably from Alta. They are super cool. And maybe a black grill trim, not sure yet.

 

Sounds like a sweet ride. Sounds an awful lot like the order I'm going to make in a couple weeks (I need to change my sig pic to show the black roof and mirrors).

What is the hid you mentioned?

"High Intensity Discharge" lights. In other words, Xenons.

 

I ordered mine on Sat July 26th. The MA told me my '09 production is week 36 so that will be Sept 1st.

 

Just spoke to my MA, '09 is also week 36 and in the first week of production for 09's but was told that it might take longer to reach the dealership since its the first batch.
