R56 Armrest on Ebay
Armrest on Ebay
I found an armrest for 07 MINI Cooper on Ebay and wonder if anyone has ordered from Armrest Kingdom Autoaccessories.
They claim to have a new one to fit the 07 coupe and the photo in the listing looks nice, but there's no description or picture of the armrest for 07.
Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

THe first MINI one I saw I clicked on...and discovered that is the very style I bought. Don't do it. The base mounts securely but actual armest part itself wobbles quite a bit on the hinge. Worse part though is I've discovered that it doesn't clear the e-brake and it's worn 3 small holes in the e-brake leather boot.

European Armrest (and added padding)
Outmotoring.com has the MINI USA 'Slide-Top' version available, their smaller "ARC" Armrest apparently won't fit in the R56's.

I had planned to include the Armrest in my MINI Order and it would have greatly complicated installation of the European Version that I found later.
(The 'slide-top' installation includes different parts for the aft console as well.)

I went to see the colors and sit in the interiors back when there was a large inventory available to see.
My color preference was a complete surprise and none of the leather options suited my comfort preference.
The brand-new Cooper that I had just test-driven was absolutely equipped as I was Ordering except for No Armrest and Standard Seats (And she preferred 'standard' and I wanted 'sport
). Being the end of a record month, they made me an offer that I 'could not refuse' to cancel the order and take the car I had just driven. Since MINI's Armrest and Seating options did not appeal to me anyway, I took the offer, thinking that I could fit the interior more to my liking, 'on my own'.

I ordered the the MINI's larger European 'flip-top' Center Armrest
As well as Wet Okole Kit and extra 'yellow material' and 44# of Memory Foam
and here is how my armrest & seating looks now (with 2.5" of MF on Armrest, the standard padding was only about .5 inch thick ):

I have also modified this armrest to ride at a higher angle than standard (I have Auto Shift) and folded Up is not ideal while driving.
The Standard angle of this armrest has the forward end angled lower than the gearshift, no doubt making it easier to 'Row-the-Gears'
Another photo below shows it 'Up' (seats are back) and this is a far as it folds up:

The two strips of yellow tape hold the hard rubber spacer I use to keep it higher (and springy) in normal position.
Installation of this Armrest will take less than twenty minutes.
You need a T-40 Torx to remove the aft/inner seat rail bolts and then loosen the forward inner bolts.
The sturdy steel arms run down alongside console and slip under aft portion of seat rails.
The aft cup holder can still be used.

Yes, I had bought mine from Outmotoring before I saw it $30 less from Minspeed
If you download Outmotoring's Instruction PDF; I suggest the following changes:
Remove aft Torx bolts first as when front Torx is loosened, seat will not slide forward far enough for access to rear bolts.
Also lower seat for best access to rear bolts and then raise it for best access to front bolts.
(also note that the European Armrest is different for the R56 than the R50/R52/R53 series as illustrated in PDF "Parts Overview").
