Ok I think I asked the wrong question a few posts below. I asked how you remove the antenna base on an R56.

The shop that was doing my decal install stopped when they couldn't twist the base off counterclockwise. I just looked at the instructions and it specifically says that 2005+ models the base is not removeable.

So the question is -- how do you install the decal if the base of the antenna is not removeable? Do I tell the guy to cut around the antenna as close as possible?

I'm confused as to how this works.... and frankly I'm a little nervous that the shop I'm using was concerned enough to stop doing the work and not install it. I'm $260 invested in this graphic now... so I'm looking for solutions?

have you tried calling/emailing Cooperflags? They don't just print them, they install them too.
