How have the lounge seats held up?

I have an 05 mini (S, pepper white, sports seats-- hard to sit in); I had a 08 loaner with the lounge seats (oo-la-la-- this was the most comfortable I have ever been in a mini-- the right hip and shoulder discomfort I get went away-- felt like I could move/adjust easily, like I wasnt stuck in a hard seat with a hard bolster pushing my shoulder forward and my leg inward-- it was like being on a cushion of air, but still supportive-- I adjusted the seat from the lowest to the highest setting and was comfortable across adjustments-- where currently, if I change my sports seat, even a little, I pay for it); Im thinking maybe an 08 with the lounge seats is the way to go for me;

Im wondering how many others have ordered them? Have you driven in them for awhile; Do you find they have lost their support with time, or are they softer but still just as supportive; On a scale of 1 to 10 would you rate them a 10? Do you find they are good on a long drive or do you need to take breaks;

I would love to get into my Mini and drive for an hour and not feel the worse for the wear;

Thank you for your help!!!

My car has 13K miles. My seats are perfect. I don't see any reason to feel they won't hold up. Keep in mind this is smooth leather so it needs to be kept clean and conditioned. Mine are black and I do find the off white leading edges need periodic cleaning where I slide in and out of the car.

The LL seats are one of the noticeable upgrades from my 04 (also black leather) I love the retro look they provide and they are alot more comfortable.

Agreed: best seats I have sat in, no pain in the legs or back, which is a treat. I am at 14 months and 24,000 miles. The lounge leather seats are fine. I have rubbed MINI brand leather conditioner into them 4 times.

I'd say 9.5 out of 10, just because I wish I could adjust the front of the seat up just a tiny bit more than where it is fixed.

I've got 34,000 miles and they're in identical condition to how they were after the first 1,000. I think the most time we've spent in the car is 4-5 hours at a time, and neither my wife or I have had any discomfort.

Actually, we tend to get into the car if our backs are sore- the heated seats make them like therapy

What do you recommend to clean the white piping? And how often to condition? Oldsbear, if you've had your car 14 months, and conditioned them 4 times, that's what, every 3 months or so?

Glad to hear that the seats are standing the test of time; 34K is a good endorsement; Any others out there? Any other thoughts about the lounge versus the other lether seats for the 08; From what I gather, the seats in the 07-08's are far and away more comfortable than 02-06;
