When you replace the stock exhaust on a MCS does it come out as a single unit; or can the muffler(s)) be unbolted from the tailpipes and tubing that runs from the cat backwards. Couldn't find any pictures on this site I haven't taken delivery of the car from out of state yet; and when it arrives it will have another exhaust system. I'm trying to find out if I can get the stock system into the car in pieces (unbolted, not cut apart) or will it have to ship the way it was mounted on the car.

After reading a few posts about someone needing a stock replacement system (due to an off-road excursion) I'm wondering if there's any value in keeping the stock system anyway. Thanks for your help on this one.

The stock exhaust comes out only as one piece. Check out Randy's "how to" at the top of the Performance Mods page.

Thanks Guys. Sorry I missed finding it in Randy's "How to's" What a piece of poop. The stock system even looks vile!

Don't think it will be making the trip to CA. It's probably costs some ungodly sum to replace at the dealer, but what would I do with it if I shipped it home. Mudflats sculpture? Conjoined tumorous lolipops? Nope, the stock exhaust stays in Mentor, OH at the dealer. Besides, I can just hear the transporter driver saying, "You ain't taking that piece of ____ in my truck."

Anyone in Northern Ohio interested in a stock MCS Exhaust? It'll be available around October 15th.

Charlie
