Gosh...no one knows how to do this?!

I originally posted a thread in the Gen1 Interior/Exterior Mods folder, but didn't get any responses, so I'm posting it here with the hope that more people will see it and I might get an answer.

I am in the process of adding some color to the interior by painting the downtubes, front & rear cupholder rings, shifter ring, mirror control ring, tach ring, speedo ring, vent rings, and the emergency flasher & dimmer rings.

I also want to paint the anthracite rings on the e-brake and here's the problem:

I am able to remove the first e-brake ring, but I am unable to remove the 3" handle so that I can then remove the second e-brake ring.

Lastly, I removed all the original rings within a month or so of delivery and replaced them with the chrome pieces from eBay. I simply cannot remember how to remove the speedo ring!

Can someone please help me with instructions on how to remove these pieces?

Thanks in advance!

Erika
