See my other thread about the major rattle from the 3rd door.

I called the dealer today, they are replacing the glass on 3rd door.
They told me that the glass has to be ordered from Germany and they have no idea when it would arrive or fixed. I have hard time believing that there is no replacement glass in US. Meanwhile, I am driving a non-S automatic loaner that's not as fun as my Clubman....

 

Why aren't you driving your Clubman pending delivery of the glass? If its only a rattle, I would want to keep my car until they were ready to repair it.

 

Good question.
They kept it saying it would be about 3 or 4 days to fix it. I just found out today. Unfortunately I am not able to drive down there during the week day. Depending on how it goes this week, I might just pick it up. The dealer is not as close as I wish. Another worry is that with the broken piece, I don't want the glass to fall off while I'm driving.

 

Had to order my glass also but kept driving my car until it came in.
