Chrome line interior retrofit

Hello All

I just received my chrome retrofit interior for the R52.

Alll the parts are easy to install to the exception of the speedometer piece that i cant figure out how to do. I cant remove the old grey piece, What is the proper way to do it, i tried to force it out with no luck...

Thank you for your help.

As far as I remember from my retrofit, the speedo is actually hot-glued into place. I had the dealership do mine before I took delivery, & they told me they had to remove the part of the dash that the speedo is connected to to unglue the old speedo ring & reglue the new one.
