Mini Takes The States 2008 Special Edition

Cooper Flags would like to introduce the Constructivist Badge Series - a tribute to a style of art that our designer finds fascinating.

"Being a huge fan of Shepard Fairey (of OBEY Giant fame) and his modern take on propaganda art as well as the classic styles of the Russian Constructivist movement (with artists like the Stenberg brothers, Georgii and Vladimir, "whose dynamic images capture the chaotic spirit of the age"), I created this series of badges as an exploration into that style.

There is something interesting about the juxtaposition of the friendly nature of MINI drivers with their hardcore advocacy for promoting the greatness of the motoring community. I thought this series of badges captures that spirit in a fun and unique way. We like to think of them as OUR manifesto for a cooler lifestyle. I hope you like them."

The first badge available in this series is the MINI Takes The States badge.

We couldn't think of a better way to kick off this series than a Special edition, collectors badge for MINI Takes The States. Show your friends what a great time you've had meeting up with some of the coolest folks at some of the greatest locations across America. Wear this fantastic souvenir on you MINI (or fridge) to remember this great event for years to come.

More badges will become available at a future date as well as more designs- including AMVIV and MOTD.
