Big Mystery!!

Turned on car it read 28 mpg, drove 5 miles, it went down to 24.5!! Got home cleaned the CAI and put in some Lucas fuel treatment! It's not running rough, if anything it runs better. On this hill that it normaly shifts down ( it has a CVT) it doen't now. Any thoughts??

When you first reset your avg gas consumption calculator on the OBC system, a little heavy foot or a little light foot will make a huge difference in the average because you have so little data to average and smooth the numbers out. As you put some miles on the OBC for that tank or how ever often you reset it, a heavy foot or light foot won't have as much effect.
