"Haunted" moonroof
Moonroof worked perfectly when I had the new Clubman at home at sea level, and when we were in Denver at 5,000 ft. Works at 10,000 ft. where we are now vacationing, but when we went down today to 7,500ft to shop, it would not retract ...... just bump up and down.
Came back up to 10,000 ft., and it started working again. Can I "reset it", or must I wait until we get home? Any experiences or ideas from you guys, or must I wait until we get home?
Weather here is ideal for the retracted moonroof ...... 30's at night and 70's in the day time. Air conditioning is not needed.

No clue mine works fine at 5280 (Denver) I will be up in the mountains tomorrow and will see if it works. what part of CO are you in? Maybe I will see you driving around? It would be nice to see another clubman on the road in CO.
There are some existing threads about sunroof problems, mostly heat-related binding or sticking of the mechanism. I can't imagine how altitude would have any effect on the opening mechanism, but stranger things have happened with some MINIs. My 2-cents is that the intermittent failure at 7,500 feet had noting to do with altitude, as you've already had it working at sea level, working at 5,000 feet, and working at 10,000 feet. Actually, an electric motor should work just fine with no atmospheric pressure at all.
