Howdy.

With gas prices getting crazy, we decided to get a nice, used MINI for soccer duty and my wife's running around (while I drive my 07 to work).

I'm picking it up in a few days from SoCal and was just wondering what I should look for and ask about.

I've purchased used cars before, so I know the general stuff, I'm looking for MINI specific items, like mushrooming shock towers and the like.

Only thing I can stress is to take your time, try and keep emotions out of the equation and you'll do just fine.
