R50/53 where to get parts
where to get parts
I thought I'd go to the experienced pros on this one. I have not yet had to obtain any parts for my 03 MCS yet. I recently found out that my left rear lower control arm is bent. I'd prolly like to replace it before I get an alignment (can I assume thats a fairly straight forward job?)
Anyway is there any really good online parts dealers? I'm assuming the dealer prices COULD be bested.
Thanks for the help.

car parts source.
I bought parts from
http://germanautoparts.com/.
(Bosch Oxygen sensors form my BMW 323i wagon (About $250 for 4 versus local car shop's estimate of about $600) and front hub/bearing for my 2003 MCS ($159 & $6.00 shipping). Very nice and personal service.
I'm in SoCal and they are in NY. Got them next day. Very good customer service - can speak with them by phone even. Will use them from now on for stock parts.

I bought 2 lower control arms (H Sport adjustables) from a Detroit Tuned. I believe they were right around $300 shipped to my door.
I installed in my driveway in about 2 hours, very straight forward. But you will need an alignment afterwards.
