I'm interested in a MINI

I am interested in a basic Mini Cooper. It's just me driving, and I don't care that it's small. I hear they get good gas mileage, is this true? Also I want Automatic (but if I find a cheaper price in manual I may get that). anyways I want a HardTop and I searched the dealers down here about a month ago. there were SO MANY used Minis for sale, and now when I look tehre are like 3, and the prices seemed to raise.

Anyway, what can I expect from a USED mini (price difference) and how much will a basic, nothing added, automatic mini cost me on average?

My automatic Mini with a little bit of rust and some leaks and brake problems cost me 5,000. But good luck finding a classic automatic Mini.

BUY NEW!....do the math and you'll see that there isn't much difference and you'll have a peace of mind.

I would say buying new is the best route to go even though they do loose value right away you get all the perks that come with it and you know how it's been treated.
