Will the OEM R90s fit an r56?

 

will probably fit.. but lug is different..

12mm vs 14 mm. i think.

 

they fit. just let the dealer know they are for a r56 so they order the correct ones with the TPMS.

 

The ones I was planning on buying were from an r53 MC-40. Since they're 12mm I ruled them out because they won't fit.

 

You can always have them drilled

 

Lots of OEM R50/52/53 Wheels fit on the R56. Look for any wheel that was available for a late 06, 07 or 08 convertible. All those will fit an R56.

Now the TPMS is another thing....

 

R90s from an MC40 will fit since all R90s will fit new R56 MINIs. There is no problem with the 12 vs 14mm bolt diameter.

TPMS is current on new cars so that needs to be added to the older R90.

Newly ordered R90s will come with TPMS off of your new R56 or can be added if you want an extra set of wheels.

I just saw R90s on a clubman S two weeks ago and it was fine.

 

i've seen R56's with R90... you can definately do it
