DIY day?

Would there be any interest in a DIY clinic? How to do an oil change, that sort of thing? Are there other topics folks would like covered? I'll admit that I'm clueless about owner-maintenance issues, although I have put the donut on the Cooper all by myself. ok, I had help. Some good old boys stepped in, and kept me from getting filthy that day.

I am sure some would be interested but that's not my thang I can get my oil changed for $65, the oil & filter runs approx $38-$40 of that so for around $25 labor I will let Goodyear do it. Plus I am so unknowledgeable mechanically that I do not think I would trust driving any vehicle I did work on. I don't even know how to change a tire but since I don't have a place for a spare in the MINI I don't really need to know how to now do I

It seems like there have been DIY/tech days at Stephen's Garage in the past so that might be a good starting point for you

I guess. thanks.

I was just looking under the bonnet yesterday for a paint finish code, and realized I couldn't top off all my fluids if I had to.

I know where the dipstick is if that helps

I was going to change my air filter one day. I looked all over the place under the bonnet. After giving up, I learned that the air filter is under the plastic thing with the image of oil on it. After that I said to hell with it
