yep like the title says , my 04 mcs will just sometimes die. details

1. 1-2 times a month
2. always sitting at idle when this happens
3. always starts right back up
4. CEL never comes on

is this somewhat common or just me

My '04 MCS used to do that too...I always wondered why. I figured it was something to do with the injectors not getting enough juice? I could tell when it was about to die, and if I gave it a little gas while in neutral, it was fine...

Maybe one of the gear-heads could explain it better....? (Although I don't own my '04 MCS anymore, I'm still curious.)

 

yeah i forgot that point , sometimes it would almost die and id give it some gas and be fine, but then if id watch the real time mileage calc it would stay around 60mpg while cruising in nuetral where as usually it would be at 99.9mpg
