so hey, my name is spence (spade), i'm 18.

i bought my mcs a few weeks ago after a tragic electrical fire in my 1998 jeep wrangler that was pristine, not anymore. so... after some insurance and a better job i bought my '03 mini cooper s. and it is amazing. i give alot of respect for this car. but i have a few questions on where to get some parts and which ones are good or not...

i would like to get a mini-madness short shift.. yay or nay?

on the hood where the intake scoop is, i'd like that black (mine's gray) do you know of any pre painted places online to where i can order from?

i also would like to put some gauges on the a-pillar, any one custom make a 3-pod pillars?

and i'm sure i'll have more questions down the road, thanks for the help guys

The short shifter, did you look into the Alta short shifter already? I heard a lot of people are using the Alta one, not sure about the MINI-Madness ones.

The bonnet scoop, I don't know of any places that would have a pre painted one, but you can look around and possibly make a WTB (Want to Buy) in the Marketplace. Or you can bring it over to a local bodyshop and see how much they'd charge to paint the bonnet scoop.

The gauges, PM gnaster he's done the a-pillar mod, I'm pretty confident it was him that did it, also a few other people on here I think have done it as well.
