Need longer screws to mount Dinan Strut tower brace?

I just got a used Dinan strut tower brace. Does anyone know if I need to get longer screws that come out of the strut tower. It doesn't seem like theres much meat if using the stock ones. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scoop

Did it come with the nuts? If those are missing that might be your reason why.

That was my first thread. Awesome !!! 2 seconds later you guys are helping me. Thanks a lot. No it didn't come with any nuts. I was trying the stock ones. Do you know the size I need. I checked Dinans website but couldn't find anything. Thanks again this NAM is cool.

Cool! I'm glad we can be of help. The nuts are the same diameter, it's just the Dinan ones are deeper, so they reach into the hole in the brace. So, they've got a good amount of thread area as well as acting as a shim to protect the bolt threads from friction against the brace. I recommend you call Dinan though. Good Luck.

EDIT: I found the following info from my Brace:
Dinan hardware kit - part number D183-0006
Tighten to 18 ft-lbs

awesome! thanks. How do you like your bar? Do you also have the Dinan camber plates or do you even need them if you have a bar?

I don't have camber plates. I have a set, but they aren't installed yet. The bar is nice. I think having the plates with the bar would strengthen the strut tower tops to prevent mushrooming.
