Claiming first Clubman in the USA, (and probably anywhere in the world) taken to a Drive-In movie. Drive-in on Cape Cod - saw a double feature: Prom Night (God-awful) and Vantage Point. $8/person. Tried to take pictures, but they did not turn out too well. Friday April 25, 2008.
Note: Did not eat our popcorn in the Clubman!!

 

Not too many drive-ins around anymore. By the way - love those red bits in the interior!

 

If more people would experience Drive-Ins we would have less internet addicts.

 

We have 2 here in NC close to me. Tar Heel Minis will be going to "Speed Racer" when it comes out.

Is that drive-in in Welfleet? Is it still open? Use to live on the Cape in the late 70's thru the 80's. Left after the Dukakis fiasco.

 

Yep it was in Welfleet. A drive-in on weekend nights and a flea market on weekend days.

We have 2 old Drive-in movie screens very close to our house. But they haven't shown movies in years I guess. It's the local swap meet on the weekends....booo......Soon to be torn down and a fancy shopping center is going in....just what we need around here - more shopping centers and more traffic...
