Is anybody from MINI5280 and/or Colorado planning to attend one or more of these MINI USA national events? If so, it would be more fun to caravan with fellow MINIs to/from the event(s), maybe picking up more MINIs along the way. The locations, dates and the one-way distances from Denver (as an example) are:

Miami June 13-15 (2068 miles)
Boston June 20-22 (1970 miles)
Chicago July 25-27 (1004 miles)
Los Angeles Aug 1-3 (1017 miles)

Of course it would be even more fun to take the "scenic" routes and avoid Interstate highways where possible. Is anybody else interested in attending the Chicago event in a Colorado Caravan?

 

I'd love to, but frankly it's too far and we don't have enough time off work. We've got some friends getting married this year and we've got a block of time reserved for them. With a few local events (like Minis in the Mountains) claiming up their own time, it leaves not much left.

If they had decided to get a little more central (aka close to home, and less time off) I might have considered it. Good luck and safe travels to all who do attend though.
