Wrong front aero bumper?

This is the part # for the front aero kit bumper that the collision center received:

51-11-0-145-744

Apparently, this particular bumper doesn't require the installation of:

51 11 7 127 932 Spoiler center (very bottom black piece under front bumper)
51 11 7 130 313 Spoiler Left (holds side reflector)
51 11 7 130 314 Spoiler Right (holds side reflector)

Here's my confusion:

I've looked at the "Show me your aero kit" thread & pices of nekkid front aero bumpers in the "Marketplace" and I have yet to see an aero kit that DIDN'T have those pieces.

I had to make a stop at the collision center this morning to take a look at the front aero bumper and the bumper DOES already have the rectangular "indentation" and hole for the side reflectors/light.

Has anyone else received a front aero bumper recently? Did your bumper also have the indentation?

The local MOTD caravan leaves next Wed at 6am and I really *REALLY* don't want to run into any issues with having the wrong bumper...needing add'l parts, etc.

Thanks!

Also...this particular bumper seems to have a slight "horizontal" lip at the very bottom. ???

It's an OEM bumper that arrived in a HUGE box with BMW security tape on it.

First generation car right?

It may seem like all those cars have those plastic pieces.....but it's actually all one bumper. People just happen to have them painted that way to appear that they still have the plastic pieces.

See here.....the arches are part of the front bumper.....unlike the non-aero bumper

Thank you so much! That particular pic was one that I kept going back to view...

Some of the aero kits in the "show me" thread didn't paint their arches to match...guess I should go look at those pics more closely...perhaps my eyes are "trained" to see the black trim! It didn't occur to me that they would request having the sections that would've been the black plastic actually painted black to carry on the black trim look.

Yep... on the Gen 1 aero kit, the 'arches' pieces on the front bumper are actually painted on. There is also a 2-color paint scheme (if you paint it as the factory tells you to) on the side sills (under the doors) where you use body color on the top and a flat black on the lower portions under a moulded seam so that there is continuity in the flow of the front black arches to the back black arches.

Or you could do like I did and paint everything body color! :D

Everything is being painted Hyper Blue...the only black piece will be the aero grills on the bonnet/bumper and sideskirts.

I just hope everything goes well and Schultze is released this weekend or Monday at the latest. It's a good thing I already have Tuesday off...I will need some time to detail the interior & enjoy a quick spin on the local highways! I'm truly sick & tired (and DEPRESSED) from driving the Camry since 03/16/08!

waaaa
